When Santa announces he has to leave the North Pole for an important trip, he puts two elves in charge of the all-important Nice List! Excited to show they can handle the job, the elves get to work but soon realize they’re in “over their candy canes.” As they struggle to decide who’s naughty and who’s nice, the list gets shorter and shorter…until it seems like no one will get presents at all! Full of festive songs and holiday cheer, The Nice List is a heartwarming musical adventure the whole family will love!

The opening night performance of each show is followed by a light reception.

Dec 12 | 7pm
This pre-show event starts at 7pm on the first Friday of each production. Enjoy complimentary spirits, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert.

Dec 17 | 6:00pm
A great way to wind down midweek. The second Wednesday of each production kicks off at 6:00pm with desserts and wine.

Dec 18 | 6:00pm
Join us the third Thursday of every production from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and enjoy snacks and beer from local breweries.

AARON J. ALBANO (Chestnut) is thrilled to be celebrating this holiday season at Bristol Riverside Theatre with The Nice List! Aaron is a veteran of twelve Broadway productions, including Hamilton, Aladdin, and Wicked, among others. Notably, Aaron was an original cast member of Disney’s Newsies, where he originated the role of Finch, and played Chip Tolentino in the closing company of Broadway’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Further, Aaron was a producer of the film ensemble (along with TNL producers Telly Leung and Joey Monda) and was the audiobook narrator for All the Right Notes, an LGBT musical novel by Dominic Lim. Aaron is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. @aaronjalbano

JENNIFER BARNHART (Cookie) is an actor, singer, and voiceover artist who is known primarily for her work as a puppeteer. She was an Original Broadway Company member (Outer Critics Circle Award) of the Tony Award-winning musical, Avenue Q, where she created the role of Mrs. T/Bear. She created the character of mama lioness Cleo on PBS’s Between the Lions, and she is an Emmy-nominated performer on Sesame Street, where she plays Zoe, Gladys the Cow, and Granny Bird, as well as the human role of Meredith (Charlie’s Mom). Other children’s TV shows include Helpsters, Julie’s Greenroom (w/ Julie Andrews),  Johnny & the Sprites, andBear in the Big Blue House. She also does work as a “human” regionally (The Arden, Goodspeed, Alabama Shakespeare Festival), where some favorite roles include Lady Macbeth, Goneril, and Mrs. Cratchitt. TV appearances: Law & Order: (SVU, Organized Crime), SNL, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Pause with Sam Jay, and House of Cards. In 2019, Jennifer debuted her solo cabaret, “It’s About Time!” at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Her voiceover credits include work for animation series, award-winning educational apps, and she has narrated titles for Penguin/Random House audiobooks.

DIANA HUEY (Gumdrop) is tickled tinsel to officially make The Nice List—and her Bristol Riverside Theatre debut! (It only took a lifetime of holiday cheer and a mild hot cocoa dependency.) A Helen Hayes and Gregory Award winner, she’s best known for making waves as the first person of color to play Ariel in the national tour of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Diana recently returned to dry land after performing a duo show with Jason Gotay aboard Disney’s Treasure cruise line, following her run in Bull Durham at Paper Mill Playhouse. Other favorite credits include Miss Saigon (Kim), Queen of Versailles, Maybe Happy Ending (Jiyeon), Elf (Jovie), Rock of Ages (Sherrie), Xanadu (Kira), Spring Awakening (Wendla), and the world premiere of Pasek & Paul’s James and the Giant Peach (Spider).
