Meet our Honorees

Jeff Darwak serves as the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Bucks, bringing 17 years of dedicated service to the Redevelopment Authority. In his role, Jeff works with small businesses, private developers, municipalities, and non-profit organizations to identify, secure and manage incentive opportunities for a variety of community and economic development projects. Jeff has a proven track record in establishing successful public-private partnerships, leveraging millions of dollars in both public and private sector funding for impactful projects throughout Bucks County. His leadership has been influential in developing and managing local blight abatement programs, leading to the successful revitalization of vacant blighted properties throughout Bucks County. Additionally, Jeff has played a key role in expanding the Bucks County Brownfields Program, contributing to the revitalization of dozens of properties that were idle, vacant or underutilized because of environmental conditions. As the Bucks County Enterprise Zone Coordinator, Jeff wrote the application to rebuild the state-designated Enterprise Zone which addresses deteriorated and distressed industrial and manufacturing areas in Lower Bucks County. He takes great pride in having worked closely with state, county and local agencies to create numerous funding programs that supported hundreds of small businesses and dozens of non-profits in Bucks County during the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic. Jeff also helped secure and implement three state grants to support Bristol Borough’s Façade Improvement Program, an unprecedented achievement according to Bill Pezza. He is tremendously proud of the partnership with Bristol Riverside Theatre and is actively involved in securing and implementing funding for the Theatre’s transformative renovations. A life-long resident of Bucks County, Jeff graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and resides in Richboro with his wife, three children and two rescue dogs. He cherishes time spent with his family, coaching basketball and fishing the Delaware River near his childhood home in Lower Makefield. Jeff is an avid supporter of organizations and initiatives benefiting individuals with down syndrome, rescue dogs, MS and cancer research, and he absolutely enjoys attending live theatre.
